Service Description

We will forage and process pigments, make encaustic paints with beeswax, review safety and encaustic painting techniques, and, if time allows, paint with encaustics. Participants can bring home the encaustic paint and paintings they make and what they foraged. Materials for each stage of the process will be prepared ahead of time and handouts with recipes will be provided.
